A lot of the time, the damage on your car is to be paid for by an insurance company, whether it was your accident or done by you by not fault of your own. UCBR works with ALL car insurance carriers and companies. We also honestly advise you whether it is best to move ahead with your claim or not; with a no obligation quote. Briefly, the process is this: First, you will need to have your car seen by Jared and he will provide you with a written claim. RESTORATION
Urgent Care Bumper Repair also performs restorations on classic or sentimental cars. Jared restored his own pride and joy, his 1987 Porsche 911. PROCESS
The damaged area is designated and sectioned off by masking the rest of the car with tape and paper; The repair starts with reshaping and sanding down the damaged area; Depending on the amount of damage and its severity, polyurethane filler is added, if needed, to smooth out the surface; The area is then sanded to return the part to its original shape and integrity; 2-3 layers of a primer/surface is applied; An infrared curing lamp is used to properly heat and cure the primer, then the primer is sanded, a final preparation of the surface is done; Next, the paint code is retrieved directly from your vehicle and used to achieve your car’s color match; Then between 5-12 coats of paint are applied to the repair, depending on the color; The car is finally sealed with 2-3 coats of clear coat application to protect the finish; Once the technician Read more
